Excellent gas service today neat and tidy tradesman I was asking questions about my heating and the engineer explained everything so clear to me and showed me how to work the thermostat and heating control as I am a widow and my late husband used to know all those things.
I would definitely 100% highly recommend this company they do everything they say and more and very competitive prices too.

New boiler is working great. Work site was cleaned up, all old pipes and boiler were removed the same day. Workmen were friendly but professional. I would recommend you to friends and family.

We required a new gas boiler and sought information as to the best option for us, O'Neil Gas sent a man-with-a-van round who gave some great advice on the type that would be best suited for our house which was a Baxi. An engineer, Glen, came to fit the new boiler on the date specified and on time. Glen was a nice guy, very polite and chatty told us exactly what would be done and how long it would probably take. He was very methodical in removing the old boiler and fitting the new one. He arranged for the old one to be taken away for recycling and it was taken during the fitting experience. The fitting seemed straight forward for the engineer, new piping, exhaust, etc, a precise cut through the wall for the condensation pipe was done very well, again little mess. We lost water supply for only about an hour or so which was good news. Any new holes, the boiler was smaller than previous, were filled in and/or new sealant gaskets fitted. Glen made little mess but was clearing up as he went along. He cleaned up all the bits on completion of fitting so nothing really to do for us. On completion of fitting, he conducted a test of the boiler and checked all the radiators in the house to make sure they were bled and in working order. Glen also fitted and gave us instruction of Hive a great addition to the heating system, able to change times and heat remotely, it was easy to do even for a couple of oldies like us. A longer length of cable was used as we were not sure about boxing the boiler in, Glen advised that when we knew what we were going to do just call and he would arrange a permanent fixing point to be made. A great job all round from the great advice to the boiler selection to the fitting and testing, very pleased with the outcome and a job very well done, wholly recommended.

Fantastic and extremely helpful and quick service.
Phoned out of hours on a Monday night, emergency engineer was there to check my boiler within the hour and by Wednesday at 11am the new part for the boiler had been ordered and fitted by a very helpful engineer.

O’Neil gas, electric and plumbing care are excellent. Whenever there is a problem the phone call is always courteously answered and someone comes to look at/ sort the issue very quickly.

Boiler was fitted efficiently and well, and looks neat and powers the warm water and heating well. Gas engineer was friendly and the check up phone call a week later was appreciated. Thank you.

This morning we had the pleasure of having our boiler serviced by O'Neil Gas and Heating, they sent an engineer who arrived on time and introduced himself as Alistair. All I can say is it was a pleasure to have him here completing a service and installing a Hive Thermostat. Alistair is a great representative of your business cannot praise him enough.

We are an elderly couple . Our boiler needed parts and was dealt with efficiently and quickly so that we were not without heating and hot water any longer than need be while they got the parts . Staff on the phone are polite and very helpful . Been with this company for a few years now and would recommend them.

New boiler installed on 13 August 2025. Exceptionally pleased with the job done. Engineer, Glen was extremely pleasant, explained what would be happening, took time to explain the controls and the whole installation was carried out with minimum disruption. I would more than recommend O’Neil for installing boilers and also their O’Neil Care cover.

Required a new boiler and new valves fitted. Work was carried out in 2 days, old boiler took away and every room tidied up. The new boiler controls were explained to us and the engineer told us if we had any problems with them, to give him a phone call. Excellent service from everyone, from office staff to engineers.

Very professional from first contact through "quote" visit to final installation and demonstration of operating the new system. Although carpets had to be lifted and floor boards opened there was little trace of the work which had been done once the system was installed and operating. Would recommend.

there engineer was very good and helpful
once our new heating was fitted he was very good at explaining
how it all worked
He told us after two or three days too bleed the system
too get any air out the system
we had a wee teething problem
but know problem when I contacted O'Neil's the engineer was
there in know time at all and fixed in that day
I can't thank the staff at O'Neil's they where that Kwik in sorting
everything out

I was very impressed by Glen the Gas engineer who installed my new boiler! Nothing was a problem for the engineer to get my new boiler installed! Glen was excellent and very experienced at his work and kept us updated whilst installing the new boiler also tidied any mess! 10/10 can't recommend these guys enough! My boiler died over night and when I called they had an engineer out to have a look within 2 hours. The engineer Davie couldn't have been more down to earth and told me straight what was wrong with the boiler and recommended a replacement. Phoned for a quote and hour or so later, my quote was very reasonable and they even managed to get it done the next day and the other engineer who I didn't get the name of unfortunately was also great and helped me get everything back the way it was after the boiler was installed and tested. Will definitely be using these guys again and I encourage people to do the same. Many thanks

O'Neil's installed a new boiler, flushed the system and fitted a mag filter. First class job.

Excellent, efficient fitting of a replacement toilet fan. Electrician did initial visit which was followed up by the office. Fitted cleanly in a very professional manner. Delighted with all staff.

I have been a customer of O'Neil Gas for almost ten years. Never had an issue with them and they took care of my 30 year old boiler up until the day it stopped working and wasn't financially viable to be repaired. We had several different engineers out over a period of two weeks and various parts were replaced but made no difference - our boiler was done. It did mean two weeks of no heating and hot water whilst different things were tried and I did unfortunately end up with water damage in my living room from a leak in my hot water tank when a pump was replaced. However, after a call with the head of the company to discuss a replacement boiler and a significant reduction in price due to the inconvenience which was acknowledged, two days later I had a combi boiler fitted, my hot water tank removed and a new hive system installed by two lovely engineers. I would not hesitate to recommend O'Neil Gas for boiler care. There were some issues throughout the process but it's how the company deals with them that matters most and the reason why I will remain a loyal customer of O'Neils for years to come.

The young engineer, Matthew who installed the boiler was efficient and effective in installing the boiler and pipework. It was obviously clear from start to finish that he certainly knew his job and was extremey clean and professional throughout the visit.

After he removed all the old boiler and rubbish he cleaned the area and explained how to operate the heaating system an how to maintain the warranty covr over the life of the boiler. With engineers of this calbire I can understand wyh Oneils gas servies has such a great reputation.

Finally could I say that from the intial survey, quotation and office communication, I have found the whole experience stress free and without fault.

Engineer arrived explained what he was going to do for my service as i had problems week before with other company Meticulous with his attention to detail Checked everything and i mean everything Never had my carbon monoxide detector checked and tested before Told me my pressure had dropped filled back to correct level He was in no rush to finish Was impressed by his knowledge on my boiler as it is not a better know range Viessmann vitodens Will be only using this company from now on And will recommend to anyone

I had our boiler service on friday 7th March and would like to pay my compliments to the staff at O'Neil's

The young service engineer arrived within his allocated time slot and was professional from the start to the finish of his visit.

I explained that my husband was in hospital and I was struggling to get to grips with my timer. He kindly took time to explain
the gadget and suggested a way for me to operate it.

He completed the boiler service and before he left he again suggested that I write down his suggestion on working the timer and I
Did feel much more confident .

When my 14 year old boiler made a strange noise the on-call engineer arrived promptly to identify the cause, but he couldn't fix it. Later a second engineer tried unsuccessfully to bring the boiler back to life so it was condemned. During storm E'owyn a new boiler was installed, pipework altered and a new filter fitted, but the flue remained in it's box until the storm has passed. As promised the flue was fitted a couple of days later and the new boiler switched on. Communicative, efficient, professional, I would definitely recommend O'neills.
